                      Heavy calcium and light calcium 2019-02-14 14:48

                      Calcium carbonate is a compound with a chemical formula of CaCO3, which is alkaline, substantially insoluble in water, and soluble in acid. It exists in rocks such as meteorites, calcites, and marble. It is also a major component of animal bones or shells.
                      1.The difference between heavy calcium and light calcium
                      Heavy calcium and light calcium are classified according to different methods of calcium carbonate production, and they can be distinguished from the following aspects.
                      1.1 Powder characteristics
                      The heavy calcium carbonate particles are irregular in shape and are polydisperse powders. Its particle size is large, and the average particle size is generally 5-10 μm, and the distribution is wide. It is almost insoluble in water and dissolves in water containing ammonium salts or ferric oxide, and is insoluble in alcohol. In the case of dilute acetic acid, dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid, it is inflated and dissolved. The heat is decomposed into calcium oxide (CaO) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
                      The light calcium particles are regularly shaped and can be regarded as a monodisperse powder, but can be of various shapes such as a spindle shape, a cuboid shape, a needle shape, a chain shape, a spherical shape, a sheet shape, and a square prism shape. These different shapes of calcium carbonate can be prepared by controlling the reaction conditions. Its particle size is small, the average particle size is generally 1-3μm, and the distribution is narrow. It is hardly soluble in water and alcohol, soluble in acid, and emits carbon dioxide, which is an exothermic reaction. Also soluble in ammonium chloride solution. Stable in the air, with a slight moisture absorption capacity.
                      1.2 Production process
                      The heavy calcium is prepared by crushing, classifying and separating the white stone containing more than 90% of CaCO2 by Raymond mill or other high-pressure grinding.
                      Light calcium is carbonized. After mixing limestone and white coal in a certain proportion, it is obtained by high-temperature calcination, water cooling, crushing and sieving.
                      2.Calcium crushing/grinding machine
